Understanding the Dark Side of Learning
Children can innocently, intelligently, and unconsciously learn in ways that retard, diminish, or disable their capacities for ongoing learning. Learning can be unhealthy to learning. Our populations' most widespread learning disability, "mind-shame", is but one example of this dark side of learning.
Drawing on "The New Science of Learning" and the work of the "Children of the Code Project <http://www.childrenofthecode.org/>", this webinar explores the critical differences between 'stewarding healthy learning' and 'unwittingly facilitating unhealthy learning'.
